3 Night Uluru Adventure - Yulara to Yulara
Day 1: Yulara to Kata Tjuta & Uluru
This afternoon we embark to explore the 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. Here, we get up close to this ancient geological formation during an afternoon hike. The perfect end to a remarkable day is watching the Rock’s rich colours change against a blazing Red Centre sunset. (L,D)
Day 2: Uluru Sunrise to Kings Canyon
Enjoy a glorious sunrise with a walk around the base of Uluru. Deepen your understanding of the land and the Mala people during a cultural interpretive walk with an Aboriginal guide.There’s an opportunity to purchase Aboriginal arts and crafts at the Cultural Centre before travelling to our exclusive campsite in Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon). Day 3: Kings Canyon to Yulara
Discover the Lost City and the Garden of Eden on a 6km hike in Kings Canyon. Admire and explore the towering walls and crevices of Watarrka National Park. The photo opportunities are endless in Kings Canyon so be sure to bring your camera. After lunch, we hit the road again for a three-hour drive to Yulara. This evening, you have choice to enjoy one of the following optional activities; a Sunset Camel Cruise, the Field of Lights, Sounds of Silence, the Wintjiri Wiru Drone display; or if you’d like to experience the Uluru sunset from a different perspective (and free of charge), tonight is the opportunity to do it! After dinner, relax at your camp for a night under the stars. (B,L,D)
Day 4: Yulara Departure Day
After a short sleep-in, enjoy a hearty breakfast at our exclusive camp. Depending on your departure time, choose to take our free 10-minute transfer direct to Yulara’s Desert Gardens Hotel, or Uluru Airport (Ayers Rock Airport, airport code: AYQ). If you have plenty of spare time before your flight, you have the opportunity to leave your luggage at the Desert Gardens Hotel, and spend some time in Yulara Resort shopping at your leisure. Please note: There’s regular free airport shuttles from the Desert Gardens Hotel to the Ayers Rock Airport. (B)
BRING:
Sturdy walking shoes, hat and sunscreen, toiletries, warm clothing in winter, swimwear and towel in summer, water bottle (1.5L), torch, insect repellent and camera.
INCLUDED:
Experienced guide and host, national park entry, meals as indicated, finger food for Uluru sunset, accommodation/Ayers Rock airport transfers, air-conditioned vehicle, Aboriginal cultural interpretive walk (min 2 passengers required) and accommodation as below:
Permanent tented camp including proper bed, linen, light, fan and power (with shared facilities).

Travel Insurance is compulsory for all travellers on all tours and details must be presented to your tour guide before departure. It is your responsibility to advise us if you have any special dietary requirements, allergies, or medical conditions well ahead of departure. From October to March it is likely that you will experience temperatures of over 35 degrees Celsius, and sometimes well into the 40s. Be prepared to endure extra physical stress due to the heat at these times, especially while on walks. These extreme temperatures can also place stress on the air-conditioning units within our vehicles, which can make travelling uncomfortable. Your tour guide will assist with regular breaks and information to assist keeping hydrated. In July and August, very cold temperatures can be experienced in the outback, especially overnight. Please come prepared for all extremes.
